Sticky Squares are a great afternoon treat. 

1 cup brown sugar 250 ml
1 cup honey 250 ml
1/2 cup butter or margarine 110 g
1 tsp vanilla 5 ml
8 cups puffed wheat or puffed rice 2 L

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add honey and sugar and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Add vanilla to syrup mixture.  Measure puffed wheat into a large bowl. Pour syrup mixture over puffed wheat. Mix until all the puffed wheat is coated with the syrup mixture. Press into a greased 9" x 9" pan. Let sit until cool. Cut into squares.
